Hi! Welcome to my brand spankin new website. There's still much work to be done, so keep checking for new updates. Here's what's new:
May 12 and May 14:
If you missed some of my previous concerts, fear not: I am playing again at Manhattan School of Music. Click here for more info. And look! Another nifty poster:
Coming April 20:
James Rodgers's recital. It's going to be awesome. James is amazing. The pieces are amazing: some light stuff about flowers from Milhaud, Italian love songs from Tosti, depressing stuff from Strauss and Rachmaninoff, and whimsical little ditties from myself. And it's free! AND we look damn good on this poster.
Mar. 19, 2008:
Just got back from an exciting weekend in Flint, Michigan. I performed the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Flint Symphony Orchestra (they are really good, and one of the first violinists was my brother's roommate at Peabody freshmen year -- neato!) in front of a packed house. And I even got a review in the Flint Journal! I also gave a masterclass and a couple outreach presentations at the Flint Institute of Music and the U. of Michigan - Flint. People can say what they want about Flint, but the culture there is flourishing. It was so refreshing to see a community so supportive of the arts there.
